Custom Plushies

Hello! Maybe you are here because you spotted my custom Pokemon plushies, and would like to learn more about getting your very own? Well read on!
        

I wanted to make a pokemon that felt 'real' to me. I wanted to pose it, weight it, and make people look twice when they see it. I chose faux furs for this reason - there are so many wonderful minky artists, I just wanted to try something different!

My plushies are made from short/medium/long pile faux fur, depending on what colours are needed and what is available, or suitable.  Each plush will be part handsewn, part machine sewn, always finished by hand. Where possible, parts can be made with armature, or arms/legs will jointed in a traditional 'teddy bear' method for maximum posibility. Eyes may be felt or cashmere, hand embroidered and coloured, depending on each characters design, of course. Parts like the nose could be polymer clay. So many possibilities..... I will discuss all this with you! Since faux fur is limited in colours, and can be bulky for fine details, I may use some minky in places like fins, or spike features but I will always do my best to make it mostly out of fur!


        

If you have a Pokemon plush idea in mind, Or indeed any character that you think might suit this (I've started with pokemon, but I'm up for any challenge! ) please feel free to comment and discuss it with me.
A regular plush costs £80/$135. This would be for a jointed, wired plush of a reasonably simple character, for example - Eevee, or another similar four limbed character with a tail.

A non poseable plush costs £45/$75. This will be your classic round, squishy blob pokemon. You know, Gulpin, Drifbloom, ditto.... etc.

A regular Pony plush costs £120/$195. Wings will cost an extra $10.

Extras that will cost more, include but not limited to! - extra wired wings or legs, different sizes, more details such as polymer clay teeth/claws, better quality material, excessive amounts of different colours/spots/stripes etc. And so on. For ponies, more detailed characters such as Celestia who would require her jewellery etc also fall in this catagory.

 I do require a non-refundable deposit before I start work, mainly to buy supplies but to also let me know that you are committed. The rest of the payment will be required when the plush is completed, and you are happy!

I will ship your plush safely wrapped in a box, at cost to where ever you are in the world. I'm shipping from the UK, and insurance can be purchased.


       

FAQ!

Would you sew my fursona? - YEP! I could even do anthro, WITH clothing, as I used to sew dolls clothes.

Can we Trade? are a possibility, for other custom plushies or Pokemon items. Please don't be offended if I say no though - I may just be really busy!

Can I buy your pattern? - Nope, not for sale. Any enquiries asking will be ignored.

Do you ship to my country? - Yep, I do! I ship from the UK, but anywhere is fine by me. But if you live in Italy or Russia, I might insist on recorded delivery,as the postal system in those places are...... good at losing things.

How long will you take/can you do it by X date? - Ummmmmm.... how long is a piece of string? It depends on how many commissions have, how long an order of fur needed takes to reach me, How many mistakes I make along the way. >.<; etc. etc...... Anywhere from a fortnight to a couple of months, depending on circumstances and complexity.

Faux fur doesn't cost that much.... right? - Yep it does! In fact, aside from the really cheap fun fur (I try to avoid this as much as possible) The most basic of faux fur prices can be TWICE that of its minky counterpart. And it goes up from there.

Can I pay in installments? - Yes! As many as you want!

On the subject of bags, I'm happy to work on those whether my plushy commissions list is closed or not.
I use a stock picture to make it accurate, so if you have one you'd like me to use please send it to me.
I will repeat a character, but not make an exact copy of an already made bag - I want y'all to have unique bags, and I bet you do too!
The picture/character is made from embroidered minky, the outer plain colour is needlecord and the lining is plain cotton.

I have an extensive collection of fabric, so I hope to find one to suit your character. What you will need to pick is -
An outer fabric colour of needlecord
a background for the main panel of the bag
a strap colour

I am VERY happy to use my gut instincts and pick for you if you like, or I can show you the fabrics I have which I think would work and you pick one.
